If you run accross a P0171 code on a Toyota vehicle, check and see if an aftermarket airbox has been installed. They may be the cause and can exhibit some visual differences like the one below which is missing the carbon filter.

If you have a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross and find an EVAP code with DTC P045015, the you will want to check for poor pin fit connector A05, driver's kick panel, to the left behind the integration relay/body ECU, its white connector, blue wire facing you with black on other side. HTH
