What specific questions do you have?
I wanted to know if toyota changed the specific years.I called Toyota on my 2002 sequoia and was refused replacement then I called highway safety and filed a complaint to add to the other complaints.I hope more people do that. Thanks BGroot :)

I looked up Canada info and found that the years on the vehicles is the same so I have egg on my face and I'm sorry about that.We still need more people to complain and maybe the complaint might include the years to start at an earlier date like 2000.

As it stands right now the cut off is 2005 but if Canada makes exceptions on this with the trucks I don't see the difference between the sequoia frame and the truck frame. The problem I believe is the maker of the frames did not use good steel and that is what should be looked at,not the year of the vehicle, I think. If anyone has ideas on this please join in.

If it's just the rear you might be able to have it repaired by welding plates on it.When I did mine I took the spare tire off and got a needle scaler from harbor freight and got the loose rust off and sprayed rustolium rust ender then took it to be welded.Mine cost me 1000.00.

I just got an email from a woman that unloaded her rusted sequoia and she say that she saw a stack of sequoia frames at a dealership in Verginia beach.Would be great if they made use of them for rusted frames.

2003 Takoma purchased new. 109,000 miles. Has the undercoating and at the time I asked for frame replacement instead and was refused. My truck is like new except for frame issue and connected problems. Went through all steps others have taken with Toyota and they very courteously refuse to do anything! I was told warranty was extended 15 years, (I was told warranty was extended 15 years and it ran out one year ago but I was NEVER advised of this and asked for proof which they cannot provide).

They are just waiting us out.

I HIGHLY encourage everyone on this important thread to file a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA): https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/

Since Toyota is not willing to help us individually (I now have an undrivable 2004 Sequioa) with their Sequoia and Tundra rusted frame life-threatening problem, only our collective complaints will enable the NHTSA to force Toyota's hand.

Help yourself and others by filing an official complaint. It's quick and easy to do so. Thanks!
