2007-2010 Toyota Tundra Sequoia Fuel Gauge Inaccuracy - No Start

If you have a 2007-2010 Toyota Tundra or Sequoia that died while driving or is a No Start with the gas gauge reading about 1/4 tank, then you may want to replace the fuel sending unit located in the gas tank on the side of the fuel pump assembly. The part # is 83320-0C080.

I think the onboard computer recalibrates itself over time. I 'fixed' this problem in my truck (empty at 1/4 tank) by filling it up until it overflowed. I think somehow that forces it to recalibrate, because I've run it down to empty a couple times now without a problem. Of course I now carry 2 gallons in a gas can in the back Incase it happens again.
