CONDITION:
Some 2014-2020 model year Highlander and Highlander HV vehicles are equipped with alloy wheels that are clad with a plastic cover. Use of a heat gun to facilitate removal of stick-on wheel weights may damage the coating on the cladding and cause it bubble and/or peel off.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Do not utilize any heat tool to remove stick-on wheel weights with part numbers listed in the table above.

Coating just starting to peel off (not from heat gun or anything) my 2019 Hybrid Platimum wheels, with 40k miles. Hope Toyota extends the warranty, as this is apparently really common issue now as these 2018's and 2019's get older.
