APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
2019 RAV4 Hybrid AWD
CONDITION:
RESOLVER-R NOT ADJUSTED on MID displays all the time. This is due to MG ECU logic during production. The zero-point value for the MGR was not learned.
3 DTCs may be stored:
P1C5E19 (Drive Motor "B" Inverter Circuit Current Above Threshold)
P0C021D (Drive Motor "B" System Circuit Current Out of Range)
P0C1A00 (Drive Motor "B" Execution Torque Performance)
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please create a TAS case and contact TAS for instruction prior to diagnosing or repairing of the vehicle. If it is a weekend or holiday, continue with diagnosis and repair.
NOTE:
Model Year 19 Repair Manual for RAV4 HV does not have instructions for AWD due to error. Please use the workaround stated/shown below:
1. Please open the 2019MY RAV4 HV Repair Manual (RM)
2. Once in the RM, at the top select “2020”.
3. Navigate to Motor Generator Control System (for AWD), please see hyperlink in “Link References” section of this document.
