APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
2020-2021 Toyota Supra
CONDITION:
Customers may state they have a fluid leak from under the vehicle or technicians may notice a leak while performing other work.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Confirm the leak is in fact from the transmission pan/gasket and not the rear output shaft seal. Clean area of all fluid and run vehicle on lift or test drive and confirm fluid leak from transmission pan/gasket but NOT from rear output shaft seal and dripping down the transmission.
Do not touch or torque any bolts on the transmission pan.
Once confirmed the leak is from the transmission pan/gasket, please create a TAS case and contact TAS for instruction prior to diagnosing or repairing of the vehicle. If it is a weekend or holiday, continue with diagnosis and repair. Please save all parts and/or details and contact TAS on the next available workday.
