If you have a 2024 Toyota Tacoma with a Grill shutter malfunction message displayed and a code P15AD87 stored, then your dealer is probably going to replace the grill shutter and wiring harness. The connecter at the harness (shutter side) was made with an interior connector and not an exterior one per TAS....

So not including a silicone gasket in the connector could result in overheated motor and catastrophic engine failure. Looks terrible, what a great design.

How does this part work ? Is it just supposed to turn until it hits an endstop or a certain number of degrees. Does the angle matter at all?
