Toyota is offering to retrofit Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa connectivity for owners of 2018 Camrys and Siennas, the company said Friday.
In January, the automaker offered the two services in its 2019 Avalon and said it would be offered later on other 2019 models and on most of its 2020. Toyota had previously announced that CarPlay would be integrated through its Entune 3.0 infotainment system for the 2019 C-HR and Corolla hatchback.
But until now anyone who bought 2018 or older models were out of luck.
