If you need to clear the ECU Programming Memory of all existing remotes, use this procure.

Verify LED button on left of dash is sticking out.
Insert key into ignition and turn to ON
Push LED button six times (on-off-on-ff-on-off)
Horn chirps
Press and hold red button, horn chirps
Push LED two times (on-off)
Horn chirps twice
Press and hold black button, horn chirps
Push LED button three times (on-off)
Horn chirps three times
Push LED button two times (on-off)
Horn chirps four times
Press and hold green button, horn chirps
Turn key off, horn chirps

Thanks, i have that system too and one remote pooped out so ordered one they said would work on e bay found the FCC code was not exactly right so found the same old remote I had, got that and tried to follow the instuctions to program it. The only thing it will do is unlock the doors so I guess it will work. My other remote that came with the truck will lock and unlock doors with the same button, the panic alarm will not work but the unlock for all doors will. Thanks again

When I try to clear the remote it doesn’t chirp for first 2 steps

Did you ever get a response? Sometimes ours sounds when we unlock the door (not using fob, fob not engaged) and it can be quite difficult getting the alarm to shut off.
